Acadacathalonomania 2011: 1.21 Jiggawatts? Great Scott!
Rules for Participants

0.       Before we begin!: IQ always.
1.       Don’t break the law!: You must adhere to all Academy/Northwest policies, city/county/state/federal laws, instructions by Missouri Academy staff/University Police, etc. RC Matt has the final say in any arguments, disputes, discussions, etc. Send him your questions.
2.       Ask nicely before doing!: Do not involve persons, places, or things that do not wish to be associated with Acadacathalonomania.
3.       Use teamwork!: The term “team” specifically refers to a team competing in this Acadacathalonomania competition, and a team cannot be created after the competition has begun. Your team must stay together at all times. At least one team member must have a functional/charged cell phone with them at all times. RC Matt must have this number before your team can compete. If a team member must leave for academic/personal/medical reasons or any other reason, RC Matt must be informed as soon as possible. If a team member does leave, that team must continue without adding another person and the team member that left cannot join any Acadacathalonomania team, including the one he/she left. If a team member shows up late, the team is not given extra time to complete the assigned items.
4.       Video items!: Verbally or visually identify each video item you complete so we know what it is that you’re doing. If a team submits a written transcript of their video items in order, they will receive 50 points. Unmarked items may not be scored and please refrain from including unrelated or lengthy videos.
5.       Combine items for Bonus Points!: Each item you can creatively and logically mesh together into a single endeavor will score you a 150% bonus for all items involved. Combining three 20 point items can get you 90 points, rather than the usual 60!
6.       Mandatory and Optional Events!: Your team may be required to attend different events, including, but not limited to, the initial kick-off, check-ins, and the conclusion. Some check-ins may be optional, but your team is still encouraged to attend, since attendance alone will get you 25 points, in addition to any points won during bonus challenges.
7.       Turn in your items!:  You may submit items at any check-ins throughout the competition. Submit your video footage (and camera, if lent one by RC Matt) at the final check-in.
8.       Make it fun for everyone!: Have fun! Acadacathalonomania is supposed to be an excuse to be silly and do new things, not to be a jerk. Make sure the event is fun for everyone and keep team trickery in good taste (No physical damage to people or property, or anything dangerous).
9.       Hey! Listen!: We have a blog. (http://acadacathalonomania.blogspot.com/) Just saying.
