3rd place - KG and the Power of Three
(received license plate borders)
2nd place - Lucky Charms
(received Missouri Academy mugs and squishy brains, along with 2 Missouri Academy picture frames)
1st place with a score of 796.5 points - Bubba Gump Shrimp Company
(received Missouri Academy mugs and squishy brains, along with 5 Missouri Academy picture frames)
Thanks to all teams that participated and we hope you had a blast!

AcadaFamilyMania Riddles
Greetings all!
Here are your 4:14pm riddles for AcadaFamilyMania:
1. How many times can you subtract 6 from 30? [5]
2. Write eight figure 3's, so that they total 34. [10] (You can include basic mathematical symbols, but nothing too advanced is required.)
3. A boy who is four feet tall puts a nail into a tree at his exact height. He returns two years later when he has grown by eight inches and the tree has grown by twelve inches. How much taller is the nail than the boy? [10]
4. Two missiles speed directly toward each other, one at 9,000 miles per hour and the other at 21,000 miles per hour. They start 1,317 miles apart. Calculate how far apart they are one minute before they collide. (This question does not require a pencil or paper... except for writing down your answer of course.) [10]
5. In a children's cartoon, a UFO alien told people that "1 minus 180 equals 21". The alien hadn't yet mastered earthly numbers, but his equation does make sense, all the same. Can you explain why? [15]
Remember to submit these answers along with your other items and I'll see you in the Main Lounge at 5:14pm!

Come register for AcadaFamilyMania 2011: Let the Good Times Roll!
Hey there!
How are things? Good, I hope. Well, we are getting things together for the Missouri Academy Family Weekend, and I'm ever so excited about AcadaFamilyMania 2011: Let the Good Times Roll!
So, if you want to participate, you should totally register!! The registration form can be found here: http://www.nwmissouri.edu/masmc/fwform.htm and there is no registration fee! Like I mentioned last time, the event is open to all, but precedence will be given to current students and their families.
The event will be a little different than previous Acadacathalonomanias, but it should still be wild and zany.
