Announcement! Announcement! Let the Good Times Roll!

Greetings and hello!

I would like to formally announcement the next event in the Acadacathalonomania family: AcadaFamilyMania 2011: Let the Good Times Roll!

This event will take place on September 24th during the Missouri Academy's Family Weekend and AcadaFamilyMania will take place from 3:00pm to 5:30pm. Families will have the opportunity to join in the zaniness of Acadacathalonomania and get to explore more of campus and Maryville while on the hunt. All are welcome to join, but precedence will be given to current students and their families.

So, with that... Let the Good Times Roll!!!

Don't forget about the rules!

As much as they may seem like windy discourse, it's good to have a firm set of rules to use so that all teams can be treated fairly. The page for the rules have been updated to reflect last April's Acadacathalonomania. The rules may be modified, but I don't foresee any substantial changes in the near future.

In order to make information about Acadacathalonomania available to everyone, all information will be posted on this blog rather than limiting it to a select group of people on Facebook. Things like Facebook may be used, but only in a limited capacity. (So, during the actual event, things like riddles will be posted here rather than on Facebook.)

Speaking of information to share, there will be a special Acadacathalonomania announcement this Sunday, so stay tuned!

P.S. What do B.B. King, Louis Jordan, and The Sonics have in common?

Oh, the chronicles

I love the word "chronicles"... it just feels more majestic than words like "records" or "stories". Speaking of which, the Chronicles of Acadacathalonomania have been updated to include the records of "Acadacathalonomania 2010: Difficult to Say, Delicious to Eat!" and "Acadacathalonomania 2011: Revenge of the Day of the Dawn of the Night of the Zombified Living Dead!". Feel free to take a look!

Things are brewing for the next Acadacathalonomania and it should be great!
